Hi Starla
I am researching "vintage" and "retro" recipes from the 40's,50's ,60's and early 70's. Like you, I am fascinated by old recipe collections, pamphlets, cookbooks and just about any ephemera from that era. I stumbled across your website and think you are on to a really good idea;have you given any thought to publishing your collection? Many of your recipes are duplicates,at least in title, of my research and I have a few that are not included in your collection.

There are websites that offer "free" cookbook formats and I am currently using one to put together a collection of recipes collected and used by my Cooking Club which has been together since 1975.

I certainly dont want to step on or steal somebody else's idea but thought you might be interested in "collaborating" on putting together a vintage recipe publication to submit to a real publisher? My thought was to use photos of the time period as well as soe simple illustrations. Let me know what you thinkl. This is just an idea and I have received no feedback yet from any publishers or anything like that.

Thank you for your time.

Hi

I was reading your blog and seen you liked recipes, I hoped you would take a look at my website. Nostalgic, with lots of old fashion recipes. I am hoping you like it enough to add it to your list of sites you like.

We are 4 gals trying to get the word out about our websites. We want to stay home and raise our kids. We were told if we wanted others to find our site, we needed links.

Thank you,
